1. Known as the Dark Knight, which caped crusader is the alter ego of Bruce Wayne?

Answer: Batman

Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, Batman debuted in comics in 1939. It wasn't until 1968 that Batman first appeared in animation when he was featured in episodes of "Superman".

Over the years more than a dozen actors have played the character in animation.
2. Clark Kent is better known as which costumed crimefighter?

Answer: Superman

The Man of Steel was created in Ohio by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster in 1933. However he wouldn't appear in a published comic until 1938, which is the date he is officially considered to have been created.

He moved into animation in 1941 when Max Fleischer animated him in seventeen shorts that were aired at movie theaters.

Bud Collyer was the voice actor at the time.
3. In the 1990s, which character saw a resurgence when he was brought back to host "Coast to Coast", a fictional talk show?

Answer: Space Ghost

Space Ghost was created in the mid-1960s for Hannah Barbera animation. He was a mainstay of the shows of that era then mostly went away. At the time he was a serious superhero figure.

The character was brought back in 1994 as a jocular talk show host.

In 2011, the character was reintroduced as a serious crime fighter in a comic book series from DC Comics.
