Mysterio defeated Chavo Guerrero on an episode of "Smackdown" on July 25, 2002. Mysterio had previously worked for WCW from 1996 - 2001.

This match was Mysterio's WWE Pay Per View debut. He lost the match after Angle made him submit to the "Ankle Lock".
