Maven/Rhyno was the dark match. JBL/Angle/Big Show was later in the show. Undertaker/Heidenreich was the following match.

Answer: Edge via the ropes

Edge won the match with a roll-up and he hooked his feet on the ropes! Both Edge and Shawn Michaels competed in the 'Royal Rumble' match at the end of the show.

This stemmed from the fact that Heidenreich was afraid of caskets.

Rey Mysterio won the 'Rumble' the next year. John Cena won the 'Rumble' in 2008. Chris Jericho never won the 'Rumble' in his career.
