Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which former Leaguer is NOT one of those considered by Aquaman, Batman, and Superman for membership?

Answer: Metamorpho

Elongated Man is passed over for Plastic Man. Capt. Marvel and Firestorm are considered too "muscle-bound" and skipped over. Metamorpho, however, you may recall, died in "JLA" #1.
2. Guy Gardner's speech on the Satellite is a take-off of a speech from what comic?

Answer: Guy's speech in Justice League #1

The only real comic speech in the answer choices is the correct one. Guy Gardner was the first one to the round table in Justice League #1 (the previous series). He then proceeds to say virtually the same thing.
3. What is the name of the hero Prometheus kills?

Answer: Retro

Retro is killed by Prometheus in "Prometheus: New Year's Evil" in order to take Retro's place on board the JLA Watchtower in "JLA" proper. Antaues and Negative Man were already dead, and Riot is a villain.
4. Who does Prometheus take out first?

Answer: Steel

Steel is first, J'onn is second, and Zauriel is third. Plastic Man is never actually neutralized.
5. Who is NOT an active Leaguer by the end of issue 17?

Answer: Diana Prince

Superman, Batman, and the Flash were all on the active oster by this point. Diana had actually been elevated to the position of goddess in her own series, and her mother had taken her place as Wonder Woman.
6. Which villain does NOT attempt to kidnap the president due to Julian September's machinations?

Answer: Shrapnel

There were seven villains who attempted to kidnap the President: Merlyn, Rainbow Raider, Capt. Cold, Deadline, Atomic Skull, Charaxes, and a guy with long hair and a purple shirt.
7. Who is the 7th Leaguer to disappear in the September incident?

Answer: Flash

Batman may have claimed to be the seventh Leaguer to disappear, but if you count the number of people who actually disappear, Flash is seventh.
8. Where are the En'tarans sent to by Adam Strange?

Answer: Takron-Galtos

If you answered Apokolips or New Genesis, you were close; Takron-Galtos, a prison planets used by Apokolips, is where the En'tarans ended up.
9. Zauriel calls Aquaman and himself what team name?

Answer: Fish and Fowl

The unfortunate speaker refers to the duo as "Fish and Fowl". Surf and Turf would have been better, probably, as Aquaman did not take kindly to the name.
10. Who spoke the last line in "Strength In Numbers?"

Answer: Flash

Wally utters the immortal question, "What do you think?", a follow up to "We're the Justice League," which was an original comment made by him in response to "Did we win?"
