Madison Square Garden served as the home for "SummerSlam" 1988, hosted in front of an attendance crowd of 20,000 people.
2. The first match of the night saw The British Bulldogs square off against The Fabulous Rougeaus. After all was said and done, what was the result?

Answer: Draw

This was, of course, a tag team and the first match of the night. After both teams could not defeat the other within the appointed time limit, a time limit draw was ruled out. Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid were, at the time, the two members of the tag team The British Bulldogs while Jacques and Raymond Rougeau were the two members of The Fabulous Rougeaus.
3. Next came another first, that is, the first Singles Match of the night. In this match, Bad News Brown walked away with a victory. Who did he defeat?

Answer: Ken Patera

Bad News Brown defeated Ken Patera via pin fall in under ten minutes, therefore winning the first Singles Match of a "SummerSlam".

There were actually two, and in those, Big Boss Man defeated Koko B. Ware and Jake "The Snake" Roberts (whom had made an appearance beforehand in the night by attacking Rick Rude in his match with Junkyard Dog, as previously mentioned) defeated Hercules, respectively.

It was The Megapowers (Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage) who emerged victorious after their win over The Megabucks (Andre the Giant and Ted "Million Dollar Man" DiBiase). The Special Guest Referee was none other than Jesse "The Body" Ventura, whom had made the final call after "Macho Man" Randy Savage pinned Ted "Million Dollar Man" DiBiase one-two-three.
