Upon returning to Stafford and being given 24 hours to prove his innocence Dr. Kimble and Lt. Gerard head to the amusement park.

After the fight Lt. Gerard apprehends Fred Johnson (one-armed man) as he was known then and Johnson confesses to the murder and Chandler becomes a witness to the crime.

After a court hearing Dr. Kimble walks out as a free man.
