Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was the first ever WWWF Heavyweight Champion?

Answer: Buddy Rogers

Rogers was awarded the title by former NWA promoters, after a dispute occurred after Rogers lost his NWA Championship in a controversial fashion to Lou Thesz.
2. Who did Hulk Hogan defeat for his second WWF Heavyweight Championship?

Answer: Randy Savage

'Macho Man' Randy Savage won the WWF Championship, after beating 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase in a tournament final at 'Wrestlemania IV'. After the tag team of 'The Mega Powers' dissolved, its two former members squared off at 'Wrestlemania V' in which 'The Hulkster' retained his title.
3. Who did Bret 'Hitman' Hart defeat for his first of five WWF Heavyweight Championships?

Answer: Ric Flair

Hart beat Flair in Canada just weeks after 'Summerslam '92'. His first ever title defense at a Pay-Per-View event was against the reigning Intercontinental Champion, Shawn Michaels, at 'Survivor Series 1992'. Ironically, Hart's last match in the WWF would also be against this man five years later, in which Hart dropped the title.
4. Who did Hulk Hogan defeat for his sixth WWF Championship?

Answer: Triple H

'The Hulkster' defeated Triple H at 'Backlash 2002' for his sixth, and probably last, WWF Championship.
5. Who won the WWF Championship after winning the 1992 'Royal Rumble'?

Answer: Ric Flair

Due to a controversial finish in a WWF Championship match between Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker, President Jack Tunney declared the title vacant, and that the winner of the 1992 'Royal Rumble' would be declared champion.
6. Who was the first man to win six WWF Heavyweight Championships?

Answer: The Rock

The Rock became a six-time holder when he beat Kurt Angle at 'No Way Out 2001'. Stone Cold also beat Angle on an episode of 'Raw' later that year for his sixth, while Hogan beat Triple H at 'No Way Out 2002' for his. Triple H has only held the title five times, beating Chris Jericho at 'Wrestlemania X-8' for his latest.
7. Which future nWo (WWE) member caused Randy Savage to lose his second WWF Heavyweight Championship to Ric Flair in late 1992?

Answer: Scott Hall

In a rematch from 'Wrestlemania VIII', Savage was overcome by Flair after interference from 'The Bad Guy' Razor Ramon. In this match, Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig), another future nWo member in WCW, also interfered.
8. Which now deceased wrestler held the WWF Heavyweight Championship for the shortest amount of time, before losing it again in another match?

Answer: Yokozuna

At 'Wrestlemania IX' in Las Vegas, Nevada, the late Rodney 'Yokozuna' Anoia defeated Bret 'Hitman' Hart after his manager, Mr. Fuji, threw salt in Hart's eyes. Immediately after the match, Fuji challenged Hulk Hogan to a match, which 'The Hulkster' subsequently won. Andre The Giant won the WWF Championship from Hogan in 1988, although the decision was more or less immediately declared invalid due to irregularities involving the referee.

This does not count, as Andre did not actually lose the title in a contest. Diesel holds the record for the fastest WWF Championship win after he beat Bob Backlund in 1994, whilst the Bulldog never won a WWF Championship.
9. Which of these wrestlers has never won a WWF Heavyweight Championship?

Answer: Ivan Koloff

Whilst all four have held the company's main title, Koloff only held the WWWF Championship, the fore-runner to the WWF (and now WWE) Championship.
10. Who won 'The Ultimate Challenge' at 'Wrestlemania VI'?

Answer: The Ultimate Warrior

The Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan at 'Wrestlemania VI' before dropping it to Sgt. Slaughter at 'Royal Rumble 1991'
