Hoping to weaken the morale of the village with gold, the profit motive, Preposterus finds out in the end by the hard way that the villagers and their menhirs are tough nuts to crack.

Answer: Asterix in Spain

In "Asterix the Gaul", no one had yet had the idea of tying up the bard. In "Asterix and the Normans", he was allowed since he played a major role in the story, and in "Asterix and the Chieftan's Sheild", it was Chief Vitalstatistix who was not present.
