'Chamber of Secrets': Who said that? Quiz

This quiz is simple enough: I will tell you something that someone said in J.K. Rowling's 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', and you just have to say who said it! These won't necessarily be in chronological order.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT BACK HOME!' Who said that?

Answer: Mrs Weasley

This is the final sentence of a long, very angry speech that Ron receives from Mrs Weasley by means of a type of letter called a 'Howler'. The reason for this telling-off is that Ron, along with Harry, had flown an enchanted car to Hogwarts because they couldn't get on the Hogwarts Express.
2. 'There is not a shred of evidence that Slytherin ever built so much as a secret broom cupboard!' Who said that?

Answer: Professor Binns

This sentence is heard when Professor Binns, the ghost teacher of History of Magic, is asked by Hermione Granger what he knows about the Chamber of Secrets. Professor Binns tries to convince his second-year class that the Chamber is a mere legend.
3. 'I'll never forgive Hagrid. We're lucky to be alive.' Who said that?

Answer: Ron Weasley

Ron says this weakly and shakily after his and Harry's venture into the Forbidden Forest, where, on Hagrid's advice, they had found a colony of enormous spiders and nearly been eaten alive.
4. Which one of these phrases did Tom Riddle NOT say?

Answer: 'But I know one thing: last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, a Mudblood died.'

This was in fact said by Draco Malfoy while Harry and Ron, disguised as Goyle and Crabbe, respectively, are talking to him in the Slytherin common room to try and find out more about the Heir of Slytherin.
5. 'We have a very different idea of what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy.' Who said that?

Answer: Mr Weasley

Mr Weasley says this in Flourish and Blotts to Lucius Malfoy, just before he hurls himself at Malfoy in a furious rage; Malfoy had been taunting and mocking Mr Weasley and his family.
6. 'No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood.' Who said that?

Answer: Draco Malfoy

Draco Malfoy says this very offensive remark to Hermione Granger, which causes an uproar involving Ron trying to curse Malfoy with his own malfunctioning wand and as a result finding himself burping up slugs for several hours.
7. 'So, the train isn't good enough for the famous Harry Potter and his faithful sidekick Weasley.' Did Draco Malfoy say that?

Answer: No

This is said by Professor Snape shortly after Harry and Ron arrive at Hogwarts in an enchanted car, only to discover the terrible trouble they've gotten themselves into.
8. '...now that history is to repeat itself, now that the Chamber of Secrets is open once more -' Who said that?

Answer: Dobby

Dobby visits Harry in the hospital wing after Lockhart accidentally de-bones his arm and Harry has to have them painfully regrown. Dobby accidentally lets this slip, cracking a water jug over his head as punishment afterward.
9. 'Here I am, minding my own business, and someone thinks it's funny to throw a book at me ...' Who said that?

Answer: Moaning Myrtle

The book thrown at Moaning Myrtle, by Ginny Weasley in a desperate attempt to rid herself of it, was in fact Tom Riddle's diary. Harry finds it shortly afterward on the bathroom floor and eventually discovers its secret.
10. 'I didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at her!' Who said that?

Answer: Professor Lockhart

This is said during Harry's first Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Near the end of the book, we find out that, among other things he didn't do, Lockhart didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee at all; the witch who banished the Bandon Banshee, according to Lockhart, had a hare lip, and nobody would want to read about her. All of Lockhart's endeavors were in fact of other wizards and witches, but he'd been taking credit for them.
