Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. While Vicki and others were traveling the country to meet various underground church groups they met a U.S. Senator. What was his name?

Answer: Chris Traickin

Chris Traickin was pretending to be a believer in Christ in an attempt to discover and expose true believers. Williams and Steele were two characters
from the adult "Left Behind" series. Stein was a good friend to three young men who were prominent in the kids' version of "Left Behind".
2. Nada and her family were told that Nada's brother, Kasim, had been killed in an earthquake. In this book, we learn the truth about his disappearance. What was the real story about Kasim?

Answer: Kasim went underground

Kasim became a believer in Christ just before an earthquake hit. Knowing that the Global Community, a fictionalized universal government that controlled everything, had pretty much outlawed Christianity, Kasim disappeared and allowed everyone-including his family-to believe he had died in the earthquake. Though Kasim is later arrested, the arrest doesn't occur in this book. Though he does eventually die, his death does not happen in the ways mentioned above.
3. Nada shares a very special relationship with a main character in this series. What is his name?

Answer: Judd Thompson

In this book, Judd and Nada are falling in love. Lionel, one of Judd's good friends, is convinced that his relationship with Nada is distracting him from more important things. Mark is one of the Christians living in Illinois. Darrion, believe it or not, is one of the female characters in the series. Neither she nor Mark know Nada.
4. Sam, another character in the series, struggles with a personal situation. What is it?

Answer: His father is not a Christian

If you have read every single book in the series up to this one then you might
recall this situation. Ever since Sam became a Christian, he has prayed
fervently for his father to accept Christ. Just in case you're wondering, I fabricated the three incorrect answers for this question.
5. What dangerous action does Sam finally take during the last few chapters of the book?

Answer: He tries to tell his father about God one more time

Sam goes to his father and tries to tell him about God once more. It results in Sam getting arrested. During his time in prison Sam led several guards and
prisoners to Christ.
6. What does Vicki admit to her friend Shelly in regards to Judd?

Answer: She likes him

Both Vicki and Judd contemplated the possibly of a relationship between them earlier in the series, but never acted on the possibility, since they fought so much back then. Even though Vicki has never kissed Judd, she does not hate him, but misses him terribly.
7. In the early parts of the book Judd's wheelchair-bound friend died. What was his name?

Answer: Pavel

Pavel was a good friend of Judd's who was bound to a wheelchair because of an
unknown illness. Ryan was another of Judd's friends who died earlier in the series. I made up the name Donovan and Rudja was actually Pavel's last name.
8. What is the name of the man Vicki meets at the very end of the book?

Answer: Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams is the brother of Buck Williams, one of the main characters in the adult "Left Behind Series". Rayford, Mac, and Tsion are three other characters from that same series.
9. After Sam is released from prison, what tragic news does he bring to Judd and the others?

Answer: Nada and her family have been arrested

As he was was being released from prison, Sam saw Nada and her family being led in. Chloe Williams, from the adult series, won't be arrested until several books later. Even though Rayford, Chloe's father, faced death many times he is never actually killed. Though Nada will die, it is not the result of the flu or any other natural cause.
10. What dangerous action does Vicki and the Christians in Illinois take to help Non-Christians?

Answer: They invite several to their large home in the woods

Vicki and the others living in Illinois invite several Non-Christians to live in their large home. This is dangerous because being a Christian is against the law in the universe of the series and the Non-Christians could turn them in if they find out what their hosts stand for.

The group never breaks into a warehouse to steal anything and they don't preach on the streets. By this point in the series, the online newspaper is up and running.
