When Aiden and Meg are walking home, a van marked Willis Exterminating pulls up. Two masked men jump out and take Meg, and the woman stays in the van and drives away once her partners are back in.

2. Who is the most violent of the kidnappers?

Answer: Spidey

Spidey is a big burly man with huge muscles, and he is the most violent. Tiger is very calm, and reassuring, but has a cold manner, and Mickey is nicer than the other two.

3. What were Spidey, Tiger and Mickey's real names?

Answer: Joe, Marcelle, Sean

The real names of the kidnappers are not revealed until book 3, "The Rescue". Mickey (Sean) ends up helping the police find Meg.

4. Who helps Meg escape?

Answer: Mickey

Mickey is looking on Spidey's laptop when he sees webpages about the Falconers. He realizes that Tiger and Spidey plan to kill Meg and her parents, so he gives her a dull nail file to help her escape.

The first ransom demand was for two million dollars. Aiden was supposed to bring it to a circus in Baltimore, but when his friend, Richie, followed him, the plan was botched up, and the kidnappers never got the money.

When the Falconers got the final note, they couldn't come up with the three million dollars to pay for their daughter, so the Blog Hog helped them. He took them to an abandoned coal mine, which was supposed to be the place where they would be killed.

Rufus Sehorn, the Blog Hog, showed up soon after the abduction, and stayed with the Falconers the whole time Meg was gone. He pretended to be their ally, but was really working with HORUS.

Answer: Tiger

Tiger was the one working for HORUS, and the whole plan was to kill John and Louise Falconer. She could have just taken them out, but they were too famous, and HORUS would be suspected, so she found partners and kidnapped Meg as a cover.

10. What was Agent Harris's replacement's name?

Answer: Mike Sorenson

After the botched ransom attempt, Harris was removed from the case, and replaced with someone who was the exact opposite of him: blonde, short, and who didn't like coffee. Aiden later called Harris when the by-the-book replacement agent wouldn't listen to him.
