Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What do Kim's parents do for a living?

Answer: brain surgeon and rocket scientist

Kim Possible is just your average high school cheerleader who saves the world on her down-time. She goes to school, has trouble with boys, worries about her appearance and outwits some very colorful evil geniuses (to be named later). Her parents, Dr. Ann Possible and Dr. James Possible, are a brain surgeon and a rocket scientist, respectively.

They are voiced by Jean Smart (Charlene from "Designing Women") and Gary Cole (Bill Lumburgh from the movie "Office Space") and are, possibly, the smartest parents of any animated character ever.
2. Kim's best friend is Ron Stoppable and his best friend is Rufus; who or what is Rufus?

Answer: a naked mole rat

Rufus is just your plain, ordinary naked mole rat, with no superpowers and a love for Mexican food, especially the naco (a combination of a nacho and a taco). Despite that, he has often managed to get Kim and Ron out of some bad scrapes and 'save the day'.

He is voiced (such as it is) by Nancy Cartwright, who has also been the voice of Bart Simpson since 1989, along with Nelson Muntz (Ha ha!) and Ralph Wiggum from "The Simpsons".
3. There is also a 10 year old African-American computer genius in the show who runs Kim's website; what is his name?

Answer: Wade Load

Wade is wise beyond his years; he not only runs Kim's website, but arranges for her transportation (because evil masterminds are all over the world). He arranges all sorts of gadgets for Kim to use (think 'Q' from the James Bond movies) and keeps in contact with her on her missions through the 'Kimmunicator'. Wade is mostly home bound (and probably home schooled) but once in a rare while, he or his hologram will show up on an actual mission.

He is an essential part of the team. Tahj Mowry, the brother of "Sister, Sister", voices Wade.
4. One of Kim's arch enemies is Senor Senior, Sr. What has he said is one of his main goals?

Answer: to perfect a proper evil laugh

Senor Senior, Sr. is an extremely wealthy older man who lives with his son (Senor Senior, Jr.) on a private island off the coast of Europe. He turned to villainy because of an offhand comment made by Ron Stoppable who viewed his island home as a possible villainous lair and suggested 'spinning tops of doom' and 'self-activating lasers'. Senor Senior, Sr. took Ron's suggestions seriously and pursued evil as an entertaining hobby.

He has often commented that one of his main goals is practising to one day perfect a proper evil laugh, although he still has a long way to go.
5. This cartoon was an equal opportunity employer in that there were a number of female villainesses, but which one was the sidekick of Dr. Drakken?

Answer: Shego

While all those listed were on the show as bad guys (er, girls), Shego was the sidekick for Dr. Drakken, but she would occasionally hire herself out to other villains. She is, perhaps, the most complicated of all Kim's enemies in that she was once a hero with her brothers in 'Go City'; unlike the other evildoers, she is neither a megalomaniac nor a narcissist but prefers to assist others as an enforcer or infiltrator.

She is green, clever, agile, sarcastic and the only nemesis who factors in the possible downsides of a scheme. Voiced by Nicole Sullivan, Shego gives bad guys a good name!
6. Which of the following characters would you NOT expect to find at Middleton High School?

Answer: Duff Killigan

Josh Mankey was a boyfriend of Kim's; Bonnie Rockwaller is her archenemy at school and Mr. Steve Barkin is a teacher at Middleton High. Mr. Barkin was voiced by Patrick Warburton (David Puddy on "Seinfeld" and the voice of Joe Swanson on "Family Guy"). Duff Killigan, however, was one of the villains with whom Kim had to deal. Duff was a Scottish golfer, complete with green and red tartan kilt, who took up a life of crime when he was banned from every golf course in the world (including mini golf) for his explosive temper. Killigan calls himself "The World's Deadliest Golfer", and his weapon of choice: exploding golf balls.
7. Kim's grandmother, Nana Possible, had two sons. What are their names?

Answer: James and Slim

This was a tough one because Nana Possible did not appear in very many episodes. Now Nana is no mahjong playing, tea sipping homebody...in fact, when she was younger she lived a life full of danger and adventure, much like her granddaughter. She is an accomplished Shaolin martial artist and can still keep up with the best of them, despite her age and old-fashioned outlook.

She had two sons: Her oldest is Slim Possible who lives with his daughter, Joss, at the Lazy C Ranch in Montana; her younger son, Dr. James Possible, is the father of Kim and his twin sons, Jim and Tim.
8. What is the name of Kim Possible's theme song?

Answer: Call Me, Beep Me!

"I'm your basic average girl/And I'm here to save the world/You can't stop me /'Cause I'm Kim Pos-si-ble/There is nothin I can't do/When danger calls/Just know that I am on my way/It doesn't matter where or/When there's trouble/If you just call my name/Kim Possible...Call me, beep me if ya/Wanna reach me." How empowering is that?! Christina Milian sings the song in every episode, while Christy Carlson Romano (who played Ren Stevens on the show "Even Stevens") is the voice of Kim Possible. For the incorrect answers: "Take Me There!" is from "Rugrats"; "On With the Show" is from "Looney Tunes"; "Heroes in a Half-Shell" are the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".
9. Which villain's real name is Drew Lipsky?

Answer: Dr. Drakken

Dr. Drakken, Kim Possible's arch-nemesis is an 'evil megalomaniac' bent on world domination, but he started life as Drew Theodore P. Lipsky who happened to attend university with Kim's father. Drew was picked on, withdrew from university and embarked on a life of crime, building all kinds of destructive devices most of which failed because Drakken did not always think things through.

His appearance is sinister, with his blue skin, unibrow, scar and ponytail, and he always wears the same 'mad scientist' outfit.

When outwitted by Kim, he often yells out "You think you're all that, Kim Possible, but you're not!"
10. Which of the following quotes is NOT from the TV show?

Answer: Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

"What's the sitch?" was an often used comment by Kim to find out what was going on; "Boo-yah!" was Ron Stoppable's favorite expression when something good happened, and Kim's calm temperament in the face of danger was demonstrated when she would say "So not the drama".

The quote that doesn't fit is one from a very famous person who has given us lots of things to quote, like "Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than you". Have you guessed the famous author or do you need another clue? I think "Green Eggs and Ham" just might do...right, Dr. Seuss?!
