Answer: Brightpaw and Swiftpaw; Swiftpaw died

Frustrated by Bluestar's refusal to make them warriors, Brightpaw and Swiftpaw set out to drive out whatever was stealing prey at Snakerocks, which turned out to be a vicious pack of escaped dogs from the Treecut Place. Their mistake proved to be fatal for Swiftpaw, and left Brightpaw marred with a badly shredded ear and a missing eye.

Answer: Speckletail

Brackenfur took an interest in Snowkit as a potential apprentice, but was concerned when Snowkit didn't seem to hear other cats speaking to him. Despite Speckletail's annoyance, Cinderpelt and Fireheart managed to test Snowkit. However, it soon became clear that Snowkit could never become a warrior because he was deaf. Dappletail remarked that kits like Snowkit with white fur and blue eyes are often deaf, which is actually true.

Answer: Redstar, Birchstar, Swiftstar, and Dawnstar

In both "Firestar's Quest" and "Cloudstar's Journey", we meet some of the early leaders of the forest Clans. When Firestar finally pieced SkyClan back together, Leafdapple was appointed as SkyClan's new leader. Four of her nine lives were given to Leafstar by these same leaders, who came to bitterly regret their decision to let SkyClan leave.

Answer: Frostfur and Speckletail of ThunderClan, and Shadepelt and Loudbelly of RiverClan

When the Clans left for the Great Journey, it was Shadepelt, Loudbelly, Speckletail, and Frostfur who stayed behind. Erin Hunter has since confirmed that all four elders died of starvation several moons after the Great Journey began. Frostfur was about seven years old when she died. Loudbelly was seven and a half years old. It is unknown how old Speckletail and Shadepelt were when they died, but Speckletail was a warrior before Bluestar was born.

Answer: Princess

Princess was first seen in "Fire and Ice", when Fireheart first sees Princess while patrolling with Cinderpaw. When he saw she was pregnant with kits, he purposely snapped a twig to scare her off before Cinderpaw could chase her. He later realized she was his sister, and he met her later, when they realized they are siblings.

After several meetings with Fireheart, she gave up her firstborn son, Cloudkit, to ThunderClan. When Twolegs destroyed the forest, the Clans were forced to flee, and a kittypet friend of Leafpaw, Cody, told Princess.

Answer: Graystripe

While ThunderClan staged a rescue attempt to save the cats that were captured by Twolegs, Graystripe was trapped in the monster that the Twolegs were using. He was taken away and became a kittypet, before being inspired by another kittypet named Millie to find his Clan.

After a long, hard journey, Graystripe and Millie showed up out of the blue at a Gathering at the lake, much to Firestar's delight.

Answer: Smokepaw

While Smokepaw walked along a narrow ledge, part of the rock fell away, and he slipped, but managed to grip the cliff. When Russetfur, the ShadowClan deputy, tried to save him, more rock crumbled beneath her weight, and Smokepaw fell to his death. Blackstar comforted his distraught mother, saying ShadowClan would honor Smokepaw, though they could not retrieve his body for burial.

Answer: Stormfur

Because his sister was buried in the mountains and because Stormfur fell in love with Brook Where Small Fish Swim, he decided that he wanted to live out the rest of his life in the mountains. Later, in the "Omen of the Stars" arc, it is revealed that Brook had given birth to two kits: Pine That Clings To Rock and Lark That Sings At Dawn, a brown tom and a tabby she-kit, respectively.

Answer: Half Moon

Jayfeather has gone back in time to the Ancients numerous times, each time encountering Half Moon, with whom he soon falls in love. She votes to leave for the mountains, with complete faith in Jayfeather's "vision" of the mountains. Later, she appears in the "Dawn of the Clans" arc as the first Stoneteller, and speaks briefly on how she knew love once, speaking about Jayfeather.

Answer: Benny

Frankie was very distraught over not being able to find his brother. Jessy talked sense into him and convinced him to leave and shelter with ThunderClan. Bramblestar later offers to help Frankie find his brother. They find his body in a drain, where he died.
