Answer: Max

May and Max are the children of Norman, the Petalburg gym leader. They both joined Ash on his journey.

2. Does May's brother have any Pokemon?

Answer: No

Max doesn't have any Pokemon of his own, but he cares for all the Pokemon as if he were their trainer. Once Max met another person called Max and they argued all the time because they were jealous of each other.

3. What was May's first Pokemon?

Answer: Torchic

May first started off with a Torchic. Later on she captured a Wurmple which evolved into a Silcoon and then a Beautifly. And after that she got her Skitty.

4. What was Ash's first Pokemon?

Answer: Pikachu

At first Ash and Pikachu didn't get along well, but later they became the best of friends. Pikachu never gets into its pokeball for some reason.

5. What was Brock before he joined Ash on his journey?

Answer: A gym leader

Before Brock joined Ash he was a gym leader. But he quit being a gym leader because what he really wanted to be was a breeder.

All the Nurse Joys look exactly the same even thought they are different. Somehow Brock manages to notice tiny differences like one's eye lashes being a millimeter longer.

May wanted to become a coordinator ever since she saw two really good coordinators in a Pokemon contest. One of her rivals is Drew. May used Beautifly when she won her first ribbon.
