This is a great card to play. It helps draw out your cards by letting you refresh your hand. However, this card is pretty useless when you're down to your few last prize cards.

2. ________EX goes well in any deck with a move that causes devastating damage by using the opponent and its own energy as attack power, for a mere 2 colorless energy. What EX is this?

Answer: Mewtwo EX

Mewtwo EX changed the whole concept of Pokemon completely. With its devastating move "X Ball" which does 20 more damage for each energy attached to both you and your opponent for only 2 colorless! Its secondary attack is pretty good as well dealing 120 off only 3 energy, 2 Psychic and 1 colorless.

3. What card shares the same effect as the card Lost Remover from the Call Of Legends expansion? (The card is from Black and White on....)

Answer: Enhanced Hammer

This card slows down your opponents' game by discarding their special energies, such as their prism (rainbow) energies and double colorless. A very useful card to stop your opponent from setting up!

Answer: Cheren

Cheren, a very useful card. It helps draw out cards and set up faster. A very good card to use when it's early in the game.

5. Zekrom (From Black and White Base Set) has an attack called Bolt Strike which does 120 damage with 3 energy, a nice attack. However, it has a recoil - what is it?

Answer: Zekrom does 40 damage to itself

This was an overly used card before in a Zekrom-Eelektrik deck. It is commonly used with eviolite to reduce its 40 damage recoil to 20. It's not used as much, not after Zekrom EX came out.

6. Shaymin EX (from Next Destinies) is a good Pokemon to use when you're losing because of its attack Revenge Blast. What does this attack do?

Answer: Does 30 damage plus 30 more for each prize card your opponent has taken

Shaymin EX a great card in anyone's deck, it can turn around games in a flash with its Revenge Blast. Synthesis can also be a good move to draw out energies if you run a grass deck.

7. Gothitelle (from Emerging Powers) has an ability called "Magic Room". What does it do?

Answer: Prevents the opponent from playing any item cards from their hand.

Gothitelle is a great card when paired with a Gardevoir (from Next Destinies). Not only does Gothitelle have that sweet item lock skill, it also has the move called Madkinesis, which deals 90 damage with only 3 psychic energy. The attack is doubled if gardevoir is on the bench!

This card is great to do damage in the early game. You have the ability to do 80 damage and 10 damage to everyone in 2 turns.

What makes both of these cards so similar is both of them are usually know as a built in catcher. They have the ability to snipe and kill weak Pokemon on the bench. Raikou EX does 100 damage and Zebstrika does 80 damage. Downside is its recoil is pretty costly.

10. The trainer item PlusPower has a certain effect on your Pokemon; what is that effect?

Answer: All your Pokemon deal 10 more damage

Great card to play when you are playing people with eviolites! These PlusPower help put away Pokemon in one shot!
