Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Kelbo pretended to be which famous person?

Answer: Shakira

Kelbo pretended to be Shakira for the fame and the fortune. This was in violation of one of the eleven main wizard rules. According to him, there is no Shakira (it was not impersonation); it is all Kelbo. Despite trying to keep it a secret, all the Russos found out that Kelbo was Shakira.
2. What was Stevie's wizard revolution about?

Answer: eliminating the wizard competition

Stevie started a wizard revolution in hopes of eliminating the wizard competition. Stevie did not like the idea of having only one person in the family keep their powers. When her brother, Warren, won the wizard competition, she fled in hopes of being able to keep her powers. Alex eventually tricked her into giving up her powers and turning her ice cold.
3. Why didn't Alex turn into a werewolf when Mason, a werewolf, kissed her whereas Justin did (in "Beware Wolf") when Isabella, also a werewolf, kissed him?

Answer: Mason was a purebred.

Isabella was a mutt (part-werewolf, part-human) whereas Mason was a pure-bred (entirely werewolf). It's also possible that mutts are more vicious than pure-breds.
4. When Harper moved in with the Russos (in the episode "Doll House"), where was her bedroom?

Answer: basement

Harper's parents moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Alex didn't want Harper to leave, so she persuaded Jerry and Theresa to let Harper move in with them. They agreed saying she was part of the family, so that Harper would take the basement, which was also Alex's art studio.
It took some persuading but Alex finally let Harper have a decent amount of space for her room in the basement.
5. Who was responsible for filling Mr. Laritate's office with Justin's campaign posters?

Answer: Stevie

Justin was running for student body president and his campaign posters ended up all around Mr. Laritate's office. Justin claimed credit so Eddie and his group of people would vote for Justin. However, this resulted in Justin getting detention and not being able to run for president.
Stevie admitted that she did it, because Alex, the second biggest troublemaker at Tribeca Prep, was the sister of the student body president, and that had a lot of potential. Since Justin was not the culprit, he was allowed to run for president.
6. What extracurricular activity did Alex participate in, starting with the episode "Franken-girl"?

Answer: cheerleading

Justin was jealous of how close Justin's creation, Franken-girl (called Frankie Stein), and Alex were getting, so he cast a spell on Frankie so that she would want to be a cheerleader. He also persuaded her it would be more fun if she went with a friend. Alex tried to leave cheerleading practice, but Justin wouldn't let her go. Alex tried out and eventually got on the cheerleading squad.
7. In "Max's Secret Girlfriend", what literary character's name did Max go by when around his girlfriend, Nancy?

Answer: Tom Sawyer

Max decided to use the name Tom Sawyer, so Nancy wouldn't know that he was related to Justin and Alex. Alex believed it to be a reference to the Rush song; Harper believed it to be a reference to the literary character.
Max eventually told her the truth: not only what his real name was, but also that he and his family were wizards.
8. In "Wizards Exposed", who was not among those captured by a secret department of the U.S. government?

Answer: Mr. Stuffleby

Justin was tricked by Agent Lambwood, who was part of a secret department of the U.S. government, into admitting that he and his family were wizards and that there was a portal to the wizard world in the family lair. The secret department went into the wizard world and captured Professor Crumbs and Rooty Tooty-Tooty, along with Mason Greyback, who was in the mortal world at the time. Mr. Stuffleby was not among those captured.
9. Who was transformed into Juliet, in the episode "Moving On", to help Justin get closure after his break-up with Juliet?

Answer: Harper

Justin had not gotten over his break-up with Juliet in the episode "Wizards vs. Werewolves". Therefore, Alex had Harper transform into Juliet, so Justin would get closure. Justin did not want to move on and even invited Juliet on a date. They would go on a boat ride in Central Park. Harper told Justin what had happened explaining that she thought if Justin was told to move on by Juliet, then Justin would finally move on.
10. How was Ernesto related to Justin, Alex, and Max?

Answer: uncle on their mother's side

Ernesto was their uncle on their mother's side (Theresa's brother). Since he was from Theresa's side of the family, he did not know that the Russos had magic. During his visit to the Russos, Alex released some of Kelbo's presents, such as party-in-a-box and a chicken that can tell the future. Ernesto was at first confused but later accepted it and even brought some friends over.
