1. What is Jude's Dad's job?

Answer: Elvis impersonator

He got married in the book, and had a total 1960's wedding! Mum thought it was stupid, but that might be because she doesn't like Dad moving on!

2. Who fancies Jude?

Answer: Carter

Carter helped Jude a lot by the end of the book and I think Jude starts to like him back!

3. What is Mum's favourite film?

Answer: The Wizard of Oz

She's always liked it, but it hasn't done her very well! She actually gets herself and Jude into a right mess at the near-end of the book.

4. What does Kevin do for Jude on Valentine's Day?

Answer: Puts "Love Heart" sweets everywhere

Carter put them on her school desk, in her PE bag, in her folder, in her books and when Jude went to practice her piano, a final "Love Heart" sweet fell out which said "I love you".

5. Who got married first in this book?

Answer: Dad and Victoria

Jude had to dress in an 60's minidress with her hair pulled back into a beehive. She was late for the wedding because Mum took the phone-jack out of the wall so they didn't receive any calls.

Kristina's brother has a disability, which is why she doesn't talk about him. It's her way of protecting him because she doesn't want anybody saying mean things about him, or hurting him.

She keeps saying that she's going to quit drinking but she never does until the big shock comes at the end of the book. Jude mentions that when Mum bought everyone presents, she could hear the clink of bottles as she moved the bag upstairs.

However, at the end of the book Giovanni (who's Italian) buys an ice-cream parlour. Mum and Giovanni actually get married at the end of the book in Italy and Jude has to wear another awful bridesmaid dress! But this time it's really frilly!

9. Who passes away in this book?

Answer: Gran

Gran was unwell when Jude and Mum were in Scotland. Dad and Victoria were getting married, and Grandad was left to cope. Carter was a complete star and helped out everyone!

10. What is Carter's hobby?

Answer: Rollerblading

Cathy Cassidy writes that Carter is Jude's "prince on shining rollerblades". At the end of the book, Carter ditches the rollerblades but has taken up a new hobby - BMXing! Jude thinks that Carter is going to kiss her at one point, but really he just shoves a whole load of snow down her back! I hope you enjoyed my quiz!
