Honshu is the largest of my islands, and also the most populated. Most of the major Japanese cities are here, including Tokyo (the capital), Osaka, Kyoto, Yokohama and Hiroshima. If you are using a computer or phone branded Sony, Sanyo, Sharp, Panasonic or NEC, it was probably made in Japan. If your family car is a Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda or Subaru, it is Japanese.

Answer: Scotland

A kilt is a tartan skirt and haggis is the heart and liver of a sheep, stuffed into its stomach and cooked with onion and oatmeal. Scotland is north of England, and it also has many islands off its coastline. 'Braveheart' is about the struggles between the Scots and the English in the fourteenth century.

My capital is Brasilia but probably my best-known city is Rio de Janeiro, home to the Mardi Gras festival and several world-class beaches.

Libya and Botswana are both in Africa.

The Tour de France happens every July and is a race around the entire country. It takes three weeks and covers more than 3,000 kilometres. The French Open tennis takes place just before the Tour de France, and is one of the four Grand Slam events. (The others are the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open). The French are well known for their love of food, and many dishes were invented there, but strangely enough, not French fries, which originally came from Belgium.
