This is actually not official, but your dad heard the rumor. You also learn that Potter has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing before the Wizengamot in the Ministry.
QUIZMAKER'S NOTE: This quiz is a sequel to my other quiz, "A Student at Hogwarts." But no information from the other quiz is required to be able to complete this one. This is intended to put you (the quizplayer) in the shoes of a Hogwarts student who started school at the time of "The Goblet of Fire". This - your - second year is hence set during "The Order of the Phoenix".

Answer: Andromeda Black

Andromeda Black is the mother of Nymphadora Tonks, whom you have met a few times. She was erased from the Black's family tree because she married a Muggle-born. Regulus, Sirius Black's brother, joined the Death Eaters and didn't survive. Bellatrix Lestrange is in Azkaban, and Sirius's other cousin, Narcissa, is married to Lucius Malfoy (though it is doubtful whether she is a fully convinced Death Eater as such). You are a pureblood, too, and purebloods are all interrelated.

But you are very glad that you don't have anything to do with this branch of the family tree.

Answer: Anthony Goldstein and Padma Patil

You are as surprised as everyone else when you learn that Harry Potter has not been made prefect of Gryffindor. Instead, it is Ron Weasley, together with Hermione Granger. Ernie Macmillan and Hannah Abbot are the prefects from Hufflepuff, and Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson those from Slytherin. You resolve to grit your teeth and muddle through despite the fact that you know very well that Draco Malfoy will take advantage of his new position.

Answer: The Quibbler

The father of your fellow Ravenclaw, Luna Lovegood, is the editor of the Quibbler. Little wonder that Luna spreads the stories through all of Hogwarts....

It's written by a man called Wilbert Slinkhard, and you are all terribly bewildered by Umbridge's teaching methods. You hear your friends and fellow students talk about the Ministry of Magic interfering in Hogwarts, and you don't like what you hear.

You wonder and wonder what this may mean. Terry and Michael are not the only ones who seem to know about this - you also notice that Padma Patil, Cho Chang, Marietta Edgecombe, and a few others are talking about this "DA" stuff. Ah, if only you were a little older. You and your friend Stewart Ackerley seem to know nothing about the goings-on here....

Answer: Ginny Weasley

You're no longer as sympathetic when Ginny catches the Snitch right before Cho Chang's nose in the final match. Ron is drastically improving as Keeper.

You were present when your great-grandmother died at the age of 101. You were eight years old, and since then you have been able to see these eerie winged horses that seem to be no more than skeletons with fur. You've also heard that Thestrals can, if tamed, be very faithful and reliable companions. If only you had those CoMC lessons, too, but they're not due until the third year....

Firenze, you have learned, was expelled by the other Centaurs for helping Dumbledore. Your fellow Ravenclaw students tell you that his classes are very strange.

It seems as if Marietta was also a member of this mysterious "DA," and she told on the others to Umbridge. This quick-witted fifth-year student from Gryffindor, Hermione Granger, has taken care for this case, and now everyone knows who betrayed them.

Answer: "Wildfire Whiz-bangs"

It seems as if not only the students are delighted. Some of the professors make surprisingly feeble efforts to remove the fireworks.
QUIZMAKER'S NOTE: This is no actual quote from the book, i.e. there is no scene when Anthony is asked by some second-year student what the fireworks are called. The question is asked in that way in order to be consistent with the intended atmosphere of this quiz.

When even Minerva McGonagall is helping Peeves making the chaos worse, then the situation must really be unbearable. Professor Flitwick is pretending not to know how to get rid of the Portable Swamp that Fred and George left behind. This makes you feel an odd sense of pride for the Head of your house.
QUIZMAKER'S NOTE: I found this quote so memorable that I decided to include it in the quiz. It may not be easy to answer, but I daresay most of you will get it right - you'll remember the quote as soon as you read it.

So Potter has been right all along, and even Fudge must concede now. You cannot really enjoy the fact that school is over, what with all these new dangers looming large on the horizon. A second war is inevitable.
