Answer: Algae

For those of you wondering, molecules with two atoms are diatomic, but they are never referred to as diatoms.

3. In what country can you find the appropriately-named Bangui Magnetic Anomaly?

Answer: Central African Republic

Bangui is the capital of the Central African Republic, and the anomaly, which spans most of the country, is best known for making compasses virtually useless.

The 1970 strike, also known as the Salad Bowl strike, pitted United Farm Workers against the Teamsters Union.

H.H. Holmes was active in the late 1880s and early 1890s, and built a "murder castle" for trapping, torturing and killing his victims. Some have even hypothesized that Jack the Ripper might have migrated from London and taken up that identity, though given the dates of activity and other factors this seems unlikely.

Answer: Fred Haise

The Apollo missions were designed to land people on the Moon, and Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 all accomplished this goal. The last one to walk on the Moon, Eugene Cernan, died early in 2017.
