Answer: Black

Bucephalus was a large horse with a black coat. According to Plutarch, a young Alexander tamed the wild horse after grown men had failed. The Black Death, which scientists believe was caused by the bubonic plague, killed an estimated 100 million people in the 14th century as the plague spread from Asia through Europe.
