'Pal Joey' was a musical written by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart. It is based on a book by John O'Hara about Joey Evans, a small time nightclub singer, whose ambitions lead him into an affair with a wealthy older woman. In the movie version Frank Sinatra plays Joey and Rita Hayworth is Vera, the woman with whom he has an affair.

The 'Book of Kells', also known as the 'Book of Columba', is a beautifully illustrated ninth century illuminated manuscript.
