Answer: Boston Red Sox

A second baseman and shortstop, Pumpsie Green made his first appearance with the Red Sox as a pinch runner on July 21, 1959 against the Chicago White Sox. Green's major league career was less than spectacular, playing sparingly for five years, four with Boston and one with the New York Mets.
2. Which team won the last American Football League championship?

Answer: Kansas City Chiefs

After defeating the Oakland Raiders 17-7 in the last AFL Championship game in 1969, the Chiefs went on to beat the NFL Champion Minnesota Vikings 23-7 in Superbowl 4. The AFL and NFL merged into one league in 1970.
3. What was the last Southern state to secede from the Union during the years of the American Civil War?

4. What was John Belushi's last movie?

Answer: Neighbors

5. What was the last line of dialogue delivered in the final episode of "Cheers"?

Answer: Sorry, we're closed

Sam Malone (Ted Danson) says this to a man who comes to the door after everyone else has left the bar. Between the show itself and the actors who starred in it, "Cheers" won 28 Emmy Awards and received an incredible 117 nominations during its 11 year run between 1982 and 1993.
6. What brand was featured in the last cigarette commercial to air on American television before commercials for that product were banned?

Answer: Virginia Slims

The commercial was shown at 11:59pm eastern time on January 1, 1971 during "The Tonight Show". The commercial featured a young actress named Veronica Hamel, who would later star on "Hill Street Blues" as attorney Joyce Davenport.
7. "I've always loved my wife, my children, and my grandchildren, and I've always loved my country. I want to go. God take me." These were the reported last words of which United States President?

8. What was the last movie Gene Siskel named as his movie of the year?

Answer: Babe: Pig in the City

Although the movie didn't do very well at the box office, critic Gene Siskel proclaimed it the best movie of the year for 1998. From 1975 until his death on February 20th, 1999, Siskel and his partner Roger Ebert were the measuring stick for movie criticism on television. Variations of their trademark 'thumbs up' for a good movie or 'thumbs down' for a bad one were tried by other critics, but nothing was more prominently displayed on movie posters than "TWO THUMBS UP!- Siskel and Ebert".
9. What significant last was Frank Wathernam?

Answer: The last prisoner to leave Alcatraz

Wathernam was quoted as saying, "Alcatraz was never no good for nobody", as he left the prison known as "The Rock" on March 21, 1963. During the Civil War, Alcatraz was used as a military prison. The first prisoners were two naval officers and two soldiers that refused to take an oath of loyalty to the United States.
10. In which city was Elvis Presley's last concert held?

Answer: Indianapolis, Indiana

On June 26, 1977, Elvis Presley stepped onto the stage for the last time anywhere at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis. As with every Elvis concert, he started his set with the song "C.C. Rider", and ended the night with "Can't Help Falling in Love". On August 16, 1977, 19 years to the day after his mother was buried, Elvis died at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. Known as "The King of Rock and Roll", Elvis was arguably the most famous entertainer in the world at the time of his death. Fans, some of which weren't even born in 1977, still flock to Memphis to see the home he called Graceland.

The self proclaimed "Living Legend", Zbyszco was never flashy, but was recognized as one of the better "old school" wrestlers. Zbyszco won the AWA title for the last time in 1990, just a few weeks before the floundering wrestling association lost its television contract with ESPN.

After Zbyszco left for the WCW in December of 1990, the AWA announced that he had been stripped of the title, but the organization folded before a new champion was ever crowned.

They reminisced and showed clips from the thirty year run of the show for Carson, ending the night with a tearful goodbye from Johnny as he sat alone on a stool in the middle of the stage.

The previous night, Robin Williams and Bette Midler both appeared, but it is Midler that has the distinction of being the last guest.
