Charleston is the largest city in the state, having a population of 53,421 as of the 2000 Census.
9. What was the first mammal sent into space?

Answer: Monkey

Hailing from the United States, Albert II, a Rhesus monkey, was launched on June 14, 1949. It died as a result of parachute failure. In 1957 Laika, the Russian dog was sent into space and was the first animal to orbit the earth.
10. What is Antarctica's highest point of elevation?

Answer: Vinson Massif

Vinson Massif is about 13 miles by 8 miles.
11. In the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, what are the names of Calvin's parents?

Answer: Mom and Dad

They are known only as Mom and Dad, because Bill Watterson (who made the comics) said that they were only important as the parents of Calvin.

I capitalized basketball because I was talking about the color of the basketball, not the Raptor.
