Tarzan, lord of the jungle. He first appeared in the novel by EDGAR (8) RICE (1) Burroughs in 1912. The first Tarzan movie was called "Tarzan of the APES (3)" in 1918. One of the most famous actors to play Tarzan was JOHNNY WEISSMULLER (2), who played him in 12 films. Tarzan's companions included his girl JANE (6), who he very famously seduced by saying "ME Tarzan, YOU Jane" (9).

He also had an ELEPHANT (4) named Tantor. More recent Tarzan films include "Tarzan: Legend of GREYstoke (7) in 1984, and DISNEY'S (5) Tarzan in 1999. Hope you liked the quiz. Comments welcome and appreciated.
