Beginning with the novel "A Study in Scarlet" in 1888, Dr. Watson has faithfully told the tales of his friend Sherlock Holmes' brilliance as a detective. Watson's experience as a medical man and as a soldier figure into the resolution of some of the stories. Nigel Bruce, André Morell and Robert Duvall have portrayed Watson on the screen.
2. On "Happy Days," who was Richie Cunningham's friend, nicknamed by his mom because he made things out of clay as a child, who went on to medical school?

Answer: Potsie

Warren "Potsie" Weber was called Potsie by his mom because of his affinity for making clay pots. He was Richie's sidekick but was displaced by Fonzie in the arc of the programme. He became assistant manager of Richie's dad's hardware store and pursued a career in psychiatry. The character was played by Anson Williams, who went on to direct television series for over a quarter century.

"Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" was both a theatrical movie in 1979 and a two-season television series in 1979-81. Twiki was a small robot called an "ambuquad". Dr. Theopolis is another character in the form of a nine-inch lighted disk carried about by Twiki. Twiki speaks English (voiced mostly by Mel Blanc) but prefaces sentences by saying "biddi-biddi-biddi" which was supposed to be an electronic calculation noise. Twiki did not appear in the original comic strip, the 1939 theatrical film serial, nor on radio.

Both of the movies depict a part of the journey made by hot-air balloon; there is no such balloon in the 1873 novel "Le tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours."
