Answer: Zambia

Kenneth Kaunda became the first President of Zambia, formerly Northern Rhodesia.
He was leader of the United National Independence Party (UNIP) and opposed apartheid. He also helped establish Namibia as an independent nation.
2. When I was a child I was given a kaleidoscope. I knew it was a toy, but what was I to do with it?

Answer: Shake it and look into it

A kaleidoscope is a plastic or cardboard tube with a glass eyepiece at one end and mirrors at the other. It contains pieces of coloured glass or paper and when turned or shaken various patterns are produced.

The Kingfisher is a brightly coloured bird which nests in holes in river or lake banks. It feeds on small fish.

The Kariba Dam was built on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was built between 1955-1959 and forms Lake Kariba.

It is 6,879 sq. miles or 17,819 sq. kilometres. Kuwait borders Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf.

Answer: A protein deficiency

Kwashiorkor is a protein deficiency in young children. It is prevalent in poor Third World countries, and causes retarded growth, distended abdomen and lethargy.

Katagelophobia is the fear of being ridiculed or made fun of. Sufferers are afraid to speak in public, to start a conversation or to take part in group activities.
