The movie is also known as "Huo Yuan Jia" in Chinese. Huo Yuan Jia is a famous Chinese martial artist who becomes the champion of Tianjin. After his family is killed, he spends some time in the country where he becomes a changed man. He no longer partakes in drinking or revenge. He then gains honor for China by defeating the foreigners who challenge him and the Chinese.
