1. We're in New South Wales, between Forbes and Orange. Where are we?

Answer: Eugowra

In 1862 there was a famous gold robbery that occurred at Eugowra - about its only claim to fame - when bushranger Frank Gardiner and his men ambushed the Forbes gold escort.
2. We're in Victoria, in a small town on the Hume Highway. Where are we?

Answer: Euroa

Close to the Strathbogie Ranges, Euroa was where Ned Kelly and his gang pulled off one of their most daring robberies, at Faithfull Station.
3. We're very close to the Western Australia/South Australia border, on the Eyre Highway. Where are we?

Eucla is in Western Australia, only 13 km from the South Australia border and even closer to the Great Australian Bight.

Some of the buildings in Evandale date back to 1809. The town was originally named Collins Hill but was renamed in 1836 after Tasmania's first Surveyor-General, G W Evans.

The first prawning port in Australia, Evans Head was settled in 1877. Fishing is still its largest industry, along with tourism and dairy farming.
