Jester holds 2,945 students. Students once believed that the architect also designed prisons.

The first Freebird in Texas was in College Station. The first Freebird's in Austin was built in 1999.

Answer: 68 degrees

Barton Springs is about three acres in size and is fed by an underground springs. It is the fourth largest natural springs in Texas.
4. The Texas state capitol building is higher than the USA's capitol building. True or false?

Answer: True

The state capitol is made out of granite. It is almost 15ft. higher than the nation's capitol building.
5. What famous Austin restaurant statue has its arms cut off in 2006?

Answer: Taco Maria statue

Maria's Taco Express recently got a new building thanks to Walgreen's who wanted to buy the land that the restaurant was on. Walgreen's built a new and larger restaurant next to where the old once stood.
6. This tree is five centuries old and survived being poisoned in 1989.

Answer: Treaty Oak

In 1927 it was proclaimed to be "The most perfect specimen of a North American tree."
7. Everything is bigger in Austin. Austin is home to the largest urban colony of what animal?

Answer: bats

8. What is the name of the miniature train that goes through Zilker Park?

The train ride takes about 25 minutes and takes you though a tour of the park.

Answer: Amy's

Amy's Ice Creams original store was located on Guadalupe.
People who are interested in working at Amy's are given a white paper bag and told to "be creative." What is done to the bag is up to the individual.
10. What is the nickname of Guadalupe St. that runs through UT?

Answer: The Drag

The Drag is filled with eclectic shops and good places to eat. The Drag is located between 21st and 25th streets.
