1. The Kaliningrad exclave is part of the Russian Federation. Which two countries does it border?

Answer: Poland and Lithuania

Situated on the Baltic Sea, the city of Kaliningrad was once the Prussian city of Konigsberg. Answer: West Berlin

West Berlin was divided from East Berlin and the rest of the GDR by the infamous Berlin Wall, constructed in 1961 and opened again in 1989, reuniting the two parts of the city. West Berlin ceased to be an exclave when the two Germanies reunited in 1990.

Technically West Berlin was not subject to the West German constitution and was administered by a mayor whose authority was derived from the US, British and French occupying forces. However, it did send non-voting representatives to the West German parliament.
