All of London used to be 01 then inner became 071, outer 081 then these changed to 0171 and 0181. Now inner London is 020 with the first number of the eight digit phone number being 7, and outer London is 020 with the first number of the eight digit phone number being 8. It's all because of the huge expansion in demand for phones, faxes, modems, etc.
2. Which association football team once had its ground at Highbury?

Answer: Arsenal

The Arsenal took its name from Woolwich Arsenal, where the club was based until 1914. It moved to the heart of Highbury (Islington) in north London, and now plays at the Emirates stadium.

The Old Bailey is the Central Criminal Court of England and Wales. Its dome is topped by a statue of Justice carrying sword and scales.

Part of a World Heritage Site, the Old Royal Naval College started life in 1696. Designed by Christopher Wren, its original purpose was as a hospital to look after ill and injured naval personnel. The hospital ceased functioning in 1869 and in 1873 the buildings became the Royal Naval College. After closing in 1998 the buildings became a national treasure and a foundation was established to maintain them for the nation.

Despite the name, Piccadilly was a Manchester radio station, the rest are or were London-based. There's a Piccadilly in Manchester too!
