Answer: Timmins

Timmins is located deep in Northern Ontario. It is the home of over 20,000 people, including Canada's own Shania Twain.
2. Which of the following cities is home to the winter festival appropriately called "La Fête des Neiges" ?

Answer: Montreal

Quebec's equivalent is called Carnaval, which is the third largest carnival in the world. La Fête des Neiges, on the other hand, is much smaller. Its mascot is named La Boule de Neige (Snowball), while Carnaval's mascot is affectionately labelled Bonhomme (Fellow).

Both provinces became part of Canada as a result of the mass immigration to the Prairies that occurred between 1901 and 1911. Immigrants were promised 65 hectares of free land to settle in the provinces we now know as Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Of the other 18 cities, five can be found in Quebec, four in B.C., two in Alberta, two in Saskatchewan, two in New Brunswick, and one in each of Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and Newfoundland.
