Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Starting on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, in the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island, there was a wonderful attraction called Pacific Undersea Gardens. Scuba divers fed "Armstrong" there. What was "Armstrong"?

Answer: Giant Pacific Octopus

"Armstrong", the large Pacific octopus, is a popular creature in the Pacific Undersea Gardens. When we visit there, we will descend five meters below the water's tide line, where we will observe a very large variety of marine life from the Pacific Coast. We will watch the scuba divers feed and play with "Armstrong", the giant Pacific octopus, as well as the divers playing with and feeding the wolf eels and crabs. We will be able to see such creatures as the spiny rock cod, red snapper, and Pacific salmon. I'm sure that you'll agree that this is a wonderful place to feel the thrill of a deep sea dive without ever getting wet.
2. Where in the province of Alberta, Canada will you find life-sized dinosaur sculptures amid the city landscape? If you hop onto the C-train with me, we can go there.

Answer: Bridgeland, Calgary Zoo

At the Calgary Zoo, situated in Bridgeland, Calgary, Alberta, we can spend plenty of time exploring the beautiful sculptures and pre-historic displays in life-size form in the Prehistoric Park. Some of the dinosaurs on exhibit include the Albertosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Corythosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Protoceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. If you enjoy the thrill of seeing dinosaurs, like I do, then you'll agree that this is the place to be, so we can enjoy the immense size of the sculptures even against the city skyline of Calgary.
