Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which attribute is linked to the Harrow Deck for this final chapter of the campaign?

Answer: Charisma

Every suit for the Harrow Deck has its chapter in this campaign, and the only one not to see any action is Charisma, which finally gets its dues in the "Crown of Fangs" chapter, likely due to the attribute's indelible link to the campaign's final boss. Using Harrow Points for this chapter will allow for Charisma rerolls at any time, as is typical of the Harrow use, but it also grants inner strength to the user, giving bonuses based on cards drawn from the deck in combat, and allows for the player to force a d20 reroll from the gamemaster, though the second roll must be the used result (and can be rerolled based on points).
2. Upon returning to Korvosa, heroes have the opportunity to earn which of these types of points, affecting the city upon completion of the campaign?

Answer: Rebellion Points

Rebellion Points are typically earned through actions that affect the political landscape of Korvosa and that aim to shift the tides of the rebellion at hand in the chapter proper, so defeating Queen Ileosa's underlings (or recruiting them) could result in more points at the same time that defeating a dragon could. Additionally, destroying illegal contracts and utilizing Blackjack's charismatic prowess could result in even more. Should the heroes net the max cap (of 8 or more), they'll be able to continue through the chapter without needing to watch their backs at every street corner (as they would coming back for the first time) and they'll be able to purchase items again, likely being barred from doing so at the get-go.
3. Bishop Keppira d'Bear, who heroes will make contact with upon returning to Korvosa, follows which deity?

Answer: Pharasma

There's a bit of a reunion expected of the heroes upon their return to Korvosa, but because of the Queen's Grey Maiden patrols and the expectation of something brewing beneath the Queen's gaze, the meeting needs to be held in secret. This falls to the hands of the leader of the Cathedral of Pharasma in Korvosa, Bishop Keppira d'Bear, who, along with Neolandus, Grau, Vencarlo, and Cressida, will lay out what's happened since the group left at the end of "Escape From Old Korvosa" in chapter three.

There are matters to attend to though, before anyone storms the castle.
4. Trifaccia, if revealed as an imposter, is actually which of these?

Answer: Djinni

One of the problems in Korvosa during its perilous times is the fact that there's a new vigilante roaming the streets though, as many are right to assume, causing problems. Trifaccia, as they're known by citizens, will face off against the heroes, likely in a one-on-one duel, and probably be a fearsome foe to contend with. That said, Trifaccia is actually a disguise for a djinni known as Yzahnum, whose ill-fated Wish spells could spell doom for party members. If not defeated outright, he'll likely reappear in Castle Korvosa
5. Sabina Merrin, the Queen's right-hand lady, will ride a dragon into battle against the heroes.

Answer: True

Although Sabina may have been placed in charge of the Grey Maidens (early on in the campaign, in fact), she does regret many of her choices over the months that followed and her tactics going into the fight on the back of a dragon, Zarmangarof, who's made its home in Korvosa, are much different than one would assume.

The black dragon is under a charm to serve under Ileosa and Kazavon, and if it's defeated, Sabina will take the opportunity to surrender and use whatever resources she can with the Grey Maidens following her lead to fight for the rebellion...provided the heroes trust her.

She also has inner knowledge of Castle Korvosa; it's not all a bad idea.
6. Including the dungeon and the attic, how many floors has Castle Korvosa?

Answer: Six

The story leads smack-dab into the middle of Korvosa and after Sabina is pacified, plans can be made to assault the castle proper by any means deemed fit (though it will be recommended to sneak in via a window, door, or arrow slit, jaunt through the ethereal plane, or teleport). That said, despite Sabina's help, odds are her deceit will be taken into account and patrols inside won't be the same as initially expected. Choosing the right way into this six-floor dungeon may be key since some options (like the ethereal jaunt) may provoke stronger enemies from the outset aside from the expected Grey Maidens and Red Mantis assassins.
7. What is the name of Ileosa's new Sensechal who, as it seems, is possessed?

Answer: Togomor

The Seneschal of Korvosa typically resides in a first floor apartment of Castle Korvosa, and since Neolandus has very clearly been pushed out of this position (and is with the rebels), you'll likely find his half-hearted replacement, Togomor, in said room. Queen Ileosa put him into this position for a reason though; this possessed mage of bloat magic lost the spirit and body of his youth and became a vessel for something much more fiendish.

A level 15 wizard, he is not found in the apartment if made aware of the assault.

Instead, you'll find him in the royal bedroom on the second floor and, if you're not lucky, you'll face off against Sermignatto, the Bdellavritra devil that controls him from the ethereal plane.
8. If you recover the bones of Venster Arabasti, he will assist the heroes by infusing with which of these?

Answer: Zellara's Harrow Deck

Found in a secret room on the attic level of Castle Korvosa, Venester will give a fair bit of insight into the final stage of the campaign. Confirming that Ileosa killed the former King and took power is one thing, but giving directions to her hidden hideout off the Castle grounds is another. Additionally, Arabasti will, if you return his bones, manifest into a full-fledged spirit and infuse his harrowing powers with Zellara's, transforming her Harrow Deck into a Harrow Deck of Many Things, stacking the odds of its powerful cards in the heroes' favour to grant bonuses.

This, however, does mean that Zellara will pass on to the afterlife, finally able to be at rest having fulfilled her duties. Following this point, the heroes can no longer earn more Harrow Points.
9. What is the name of the Thassilonian monument in the Mushfens, also Queen Ileosa's final battleground?

Answer: The Sunken Queen

A number of clues in Castle Korvosa will point directly to the Mushfens where Queen Ileosa plans to achieve her immortality in the Everdawn Pool, a site of great power that could give her what she needs to become an unstoppable ruler. Infiltrating this sunken monument, partly buried in the marshes, is one thing, but navigating through the four floors of treacherous dungeon, traps, enemies, and all, could prove perilous.

In fact, Ileosa's Furies-- a trio of erinyes-- will block the path, as will a trapped gem that could take the soul of its target.
10. Of what class is the campaign's final boss, Queen Ileosa?

Answer: Bard

Part aristocrat and part bard, Ileosa's charismatic ways certainly bring the chapter full circle, and when she's found suspended over the Everdawn Pool, taking its charges to grant herself eternal life, she uses everything at her disposal from undead wraiths to simulacra to the spawning of a great wyrm blue dragon to get what she wants.

The battle is far from easy, and frequent saves and attacks will be needed to bring Ileosa down. Serithtial will, of course, be a significant help in this battle, forcing her to contend with negative levels if lucky. If she falls in battle and the heroes can stand up to or stop the regeneration of the dragon, they can sunder the Crown of Fangs, start disposing of them, and save Korvosa and Golarion.
