Answer: National Football Shirt

The country's shirt was used to represent each team. Incidentally, FIFA chose the top 22 clubs from their official all-time rankings, as decided by their performances in World Cups.
2. What were the two cheapest teams on the board?

Answer: Scotland & Switzerland

Scotland and Switzerland each cost only £60. Romania and Chile each cost £100, Belgium and Austria were £140 and Poland cost £180 with Hungary at £200.
3. What was the most expensive team to buy?

Answer: Brazil

Brazil trumped the board, costing a huge £400.
4. Which of these facts was NOT a feature of the two dice?

Answer: There was no number on one side of each dice

Each die had 12 sides, with the numbers 1-6 each being shown twice. The 12 sided die looked like a football and were different colours, showing two sides from a football match.

The four corner squares remained the same (collect £200 salary, Jail, Free Parking, 'Go To jail').

Stade Municipal was a stadium used for the tournament but not one on the board, it is home to Toulouse football club. Gerland is home to Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon), Parc des Princes is home to PSG (Paris St. Germain). The Stade de France is the national stadium, used for cup-finals, rugby and athletics, etc. The fourth stadium on the board was 'Stade Vélodrome', home of Marseilles.
7. What replaced the houses in the game?

Answer: Terraces

The green houses became red terraces (places where fans can stand and watch a game from).
8. What replaced the hotels in the game?

Answer: Stadiums

Huge blue stadiums replaced the traditional red hotels.
9. What did the 'Chance' and 'Community Chest' cards become?

Answer: 'Home' and 'Away'

'Home' replaced 'Community Chest', while 'Away' replaced 'Chance'.
10. The playing tokens changed.

Answer: True

The traditional selection of the car, hat, iron etc. became a football themed group of tokens including a hamburger, soft drink cup, baseball cap, football, football goal and the prized token of a miniature golden world cup.
