Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The first word means an action which requires no physical or mental exertion whatsoever.

Answer: Effortless

Ah if only more things in life were effortless, but I suppose that would lead to a possibly boring existence.
2. Watson, I need you! Okay, neither an official quote by Alexander Graham Bell or a recorded statement by Sherlock Holmes; the next word is similar to easy in that it is a fairly basic supposition.

Answer: Elementary

Elementary means relating to a basic, essential or fundamental part of something.
3. If you have played a wide range of FunTrivia quizzes you might find many of them to be what?

Answer: Unchallenging

However, if like me you are still trying to work your way through the masses of trivia and information on this site then you probably still come across many quizzes which definitely fall under the heading of 'challenging'.
4. The next word has a slightly different meaning in that it is defined as a state which is calm and free from disturbance. How do you spell this word?

Answer: Tranquil

Ahh the pure pleasure derived from a tranquil state of mind in a tranquil location. The word brings to mind for me an area of beautiful scenery; green fields, a babbling brook, blue skies...bliss!
5. A person who is friendly and pleasant might be described as having the following character trait.

Answer: Amiable

The use of the term amiable doesn't appear to be as widespread as it used to be, I don't think I have ever heard anyone use the word in day to day conversation.
6. Some people are easily influenced by others; another way to describe them would be:

Answer: Susceptible

A person who is susceptible could possibly be taken advantage of by others or may mean a person who has a predisposition towards some medical difficulties.
7. Although some of us wish for an easy life it is usually inevitable that we will on occasion have to deal with a ... in our lives.

Answer: Difficulty

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche. Most people experience a wide variety of hardships in their lives but it's important to remember that they usually pass with time and that nearly everyone you know has not had it any easier than you have.
8. A task or duty which involves a great deal of effort or trouble could be described as:

Answer: Onerous

A slightly more difficult word to spell and not widely used but still an appropriate sounding word for something definitely not easy!
9. If your state of mind is not relaxed and easy, you might be worried about family, work or other issues. How might you be described?

Answer: Anxious

Usually if you worry about something you have some feelings of anxiety which other people can also pick up on in your behaviour. Remember that it helps to confide in someone you can trust if you do feel anxious.
10. Whether a task is easy or difficult there may be a certain feeling you can experience when it is successfully completed, you might even feel it when clicking to submit your answer on this question as it means the quiz is over. How would you correctly spell a word which means an achievement?

Answer: Accomplishment

I would assume that most people enjoy the feeling we get when we accomplish something whether it be personal, school, or work related. I always have a mood boost when I finish a project or complete a task, even Funtrivia has the same effect when I reach a new personal best at something no matter how trivial!
