Answer: Far Madding

A ter'angreal in the city of Far Madding prevents anyone channeling within reach. It has the same effect as a stedding, but a stedding is not a city, is it?

2. What two tattoos are worn by the Seanchan's Deathwatch Guards?

Answer: A raven and a tower

The Tower of Ravens is the centre of the Deathwatch guards.

3. Who can the Deathwatch guards arrest?

Answer: Anyone who doesn't cooperate with them

Deathwatch guards can arrest anyone who does not cooperate them, although this definition is subjective; each Guard has a different idea. They are answerable only to the Empress herself.

4. Deathwatch guards are able to torture those taken to their base of operations, and do anything they wish to whomever they wish.

Answer: No

They are able to torture any prisoners in the possession, but spilling the blood of a member of the Blood is a dangerous thing to do. As such, many methods have evolved to induce pain without causing bleeding. Creepy.

5. What is the name of the Aiel clan who no longer exist?

Answer: Jenn

The Jenn Aiel, or literally, "the truly dedicated" in the Old Tongue, are the clan who are no more, as far as the rest of the Aiel are concerned. In fact, the Jenn Aiel are now better known as the Tinkers. It is on the lands of the Jenn Aiel that Rhuidean stands.

6. What is the name in the Old Tongue of Mat's spear?

Answer: Ashandarei

Gained in the red stone doorway in Rhuidean, Mat's ashandarei is a spear with a two-foot sword-blade. Wrought by the power, it is virtually indestructable.

7. Which of the Forsaken occupies a room in the White Tower (as of Winter's Heart)?

Answer: Mesaana

Mesaana is in the Tower proper, dispensing instructions to the Black Ajah.

8. Which Forsaken's name means Grave, or Death, in the Old Tongue?

Answer: Moridin

To prove it for yourself, look up The Great Hunt, and check the inscription on the Horn of Valere. Translated as "The grave is no bar to my call", Moridin's name appears.

9. What is cuendillar better known as?

Answer: Heartstone

The making of which has been lost for millenia, cuendillar is indestructable by most methods. Even the One Power only serves to make it stronger. My theory is that heartstone has something to do with Rand's blood on the rocks of Shaoyl Ghul. Maybe when it is spilt, it wil form the new seal on the Dark One's prison. Just a guess, though.

10. Who was the first male channeler granted amnesty by Rand?

Answer: Mazrim Taim

When Davram Bashere tells Rand that he is in Caemlyn hunting down Taim, Rand tells him not to, forming the first part of the Black Tower.
