Bobo was the original name, but later it was named Xanadu by Lilly Thorn.

2. In what year did the murders on Lilly Thorn's family take place?

Answer: 1903

They occurred on the 2nd August 1903.

3. What was the name of the man who was hanged for the Thorn murders?

Answer: Gus Goucher

Gus Goucher was arrested for the murders, but was broken out of jail by an angry mob, who strung him up on the Thorn's porch. There is a wax figure of him on the Beast House Tour.

4. Before the first beast arrived in America, both male and females ones lived on their home island.

There were originally female beasts, but they were all killed on their home island off the west coast of Australia.

5. In which year was the Kutch family slaughtered?

Answer: 1931

Maggie Kutch was the only survivor. She then built a windowless house across the road from Beast House.
