Alan stole the poster from his older brother, Tony. He showed it to Darren, Steve and Tommy. Mr. Dalton confiscated it and cut off the address detailing where to buy the tickets.

2. Who went to the "Cirque Du Freak"?

Answer: Darren & Steve

The rule from Cirque Du Freak was only two tickets per person; as Steve went out to buy the tickets, he was guaranteed a place. In order to pick a second person to go with him to the Cirque, they ripped up some paper around the same size of the second ticket and mixed them up with the real ticket. Steve threw all the fake tickets and the real one into the air and the first person to find the ticket got to go to the Cirque Du Freak. Darren caught the real ticket.

3. Who does Darren drink blood from in "The Vampire's Assistant"?

Answer: Sam Grest

A vampire can preserve the spirit of a human if they drain all their blood before they die. Mr Crepsley persuaded Darren to drink Sam's blood in order to keep his spirit alive after the wolf man attacked him.

Answer: Murlough

Murlough was a mad vampaneze who was terrorising Mr Crepsley's home town. Gavner Purl told Mr Crepsley about Murlough and Mr Crepsley took Darren and Evra to his city to track Murlough and kill him.

Darren passed the Aquatic Maze, the Path Of Needles and the Hall Of Flames but was about to be killed by one of the blooded boars when Harkat stepped in. He killed it and saved Darren's life.

Answer: The War of the Scars

It was called the War of the Scars because of the general mark of a vampire. The general mark is ten scars on their fingertips from where they have been blooded.

Mr Tiny announces the first two hunters in the Hall of Princes but misses the last one out because he is not present. However, he does tell them there is a third and if they follow their hearts they shall meet up with him soon. No vampire is allowed to accompany them on their trek but non-vampires are allowed to help. Harkat goes along with Darren and Mr Crepsley and whilst on their way to Evanna's house they meet up with a fellow prince, Vancha March.

With his extra sensitive hearing, Darren was able to hear his neighbours from two doors down argue through the wall. Whilst listening to them he bit off the end of his fork and ate it.

If you take all the letters of Harkat Mulds and re-arrange them you will get Kurda Smahlt. Harkat was brought back in time a bit by Mr Tiny so he could save Darren on a number of occasions. This was because Darren played a major role in the vampire's future.
