Bugarup is the capital city of Fourecks where Bugarup University is. The University's motto is 'Nullus Anxietas' (No Worries). The archchancellor of said uni is Bill Rincewind. Krull University is in Krull while Braseneck College is in Pseudopolis. Hogwarts... well, that's where Harry Potter goes.

Alberto 'Albert' Malich, who is one of the most powerful wizards on the Disc, reasoned that if by performing the Rite of AskEnte you bring Death towards you, performing it backwards ought to keep Death away from you. Instead, he ended up in Death's Domain. Before he did this, he had 91 days, three hours and five minutes of Disc time left (before MORT).

He believes that the only hygienic way to prepare food is to fry it, including porridge. LOL.

Bilous, the Verruca Gnome, the Sock Eater, the Cheerful Fairy and a few others were accidentally called into existence (mainly by the wizards) due to the upset balance of belief that happened in 'Hogfather'.
