Jasper, born Jasper Whitlock, became a Confederate soldier when he was almost 17, lying to recruiters that he was 20, getting away with it because of his height. He was changed by a vampire named Maria, to help her take control of largely populated cities in the South. He left after about 100 years, met Alice, and they went to join the Cullen family.

Answer: Houston and Rio de Janeiro

They first take a plane to Houston. Then they take another plane to Rio de Janeiro. They then ride a boat to Isle Esme, an island that Carlisle had gotten for Esme, who said they could borrow it for their honeymoon. It is where Bella first finds out she is pregnant.

Answer: Seattle

It is Seattle. Victoria, wanting revenge for James' killing, is creating a mass army of newborn vampires, who have immense strength and speed, to come down to Forks and eliminate the Cullens. The Cullens win, with the help of the werewolves, and Victoria is killed, ending the battle.

The Volturi then show up, but they are too late to the battle. They kill the newborn vampire Bree, whom the Cullens had let live because she surrendered.

Answer: Mauled by a bear

Emmett was mauled by a bear. Rosalie was in the area hunting when she found him. She carried him over a hundred miles to Carlisle, and begged him to change Emmett, because she was afraid if she tried she wouldn't be able to stop, and would end up killing him. They have been together ever since.

Carlisle lived in London during the 1600s. His father was a pastor who led attacks to kill vampires, but most he killed were innocent humans. As his father got older, Carlisle was put in charge of these attacks. He actually discovered real vampires, but during one of the attacks he was bitten. Knowing he would be killed because he had been infected, he hid in a cellar of rotting potatoes for three days, making no noise even though the transformation was extremely painful.

He then swam to France and began medical school.

After around 400 years of restraint he is able to be around human blood.

Answer: Sam Uley

Sam Uley is the leader. He was the first of the pack to change, not knowing what was happening until he met Quil Ateara Senior, who shook Sam's hand and could feel his high temperature, common for all werewolves. He met with the rest of the Council, and he was told everything. Before he changed he was dating Leah Clearwater, but he could not tell her he was a werewolf.

Then when Leah's cousin Emily came to visit, he imprinted on her, and they have been together since, thus breaking Leah's heart. In "Breaking Dawn" we find out that Jacob is the rightful leader, because of his ancestry. Sam is a large wolf with black fur.

Answer: Alice

It was Alice. When she was human in the early 1900s in Mississippi, she was put into an insane asylum because of her visions. James found her and tried to get her. An unknown vampire who worked there rescued her and changed her. Alice had not remembered her human life until she heard James' story.

She found her gravestone, and discovered that her date of death matched her date of admission to the asylum. She also found out she had a sister, and her niece lives in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Answer: Philadelphia

When Jasper tells Bella about his past, he tells of how he met Alice. They met on a rainy day at a diner in Philadelphia. Alice was there waiting, having seen him in one of her visions. They left together and set out to find the Cullens, Alice having heard about them and their different way of living.

Answer: Renesmee

Jacob imprints with Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee. It happens at the end of Jacob's section in Breaking Dawn. Renesmee is half human half vampire, not venomous, but prefers the taste of blood to human food. It was originally planned by the pack to kill Bella, and what was growing inside her. Jacob did not want this and left.

After he imprinted with Renesmee, the pack was not allowed to kill her because they cannot kill somebody that one of the pack has imprinted on.

Answer: Jasper

It was Jasper. When Bella is opening her gifts for her birthday, she gets a papercut. Jasper, at the sight of her blood, goes wild and tries to attack her. Edward then tackles Bella to get her away, but ends up knocking her into the piano and causing a large gash in her arm. Jasper is taken away, and one by one everyone except Carlisle leaves, because they can't stand to be around the blood.
