Tess left Wintergreen, Missouri where she was born and raised. After her high school graduation she headed for Nashville, Tennessee and this is her current residence. Ripley is the county in which Wintergreen lies and Poplar Bluff was where the hospital that her mother stayed in was located.

Answer: Tarnished Gold

She was listening to her song "Tarnished Gold" when she arrived in town and was upset with one of the notes and wanted her producer to rerecord it while she was away. "Old Souls" was the song Casey sang with the back - up singers to determine if she could blend well enough to go on tour. "Small Town Girl" was the song she and Casey wrote and "Cattin" was Tess' just released radio single.

Rachel was Tess' niece and Carla was Tess' original back up singer who got sick.

It was raining and Tess could not resist the tension any longer and leaned over and kissed him and promptly ran off.
