Besaba was forced to marry Essus when she became pregnant by him, and join the Unseelie court. Because of that, Merry is called 'Besaba's bane' in the Seelie court.
2. Merry's brownie grandmother had two daughters. One was Merry's mother. Who was the other?

Answer: Eluned

Eluned and Besaba are twins, and neither of them show their brownie parentage. Eluned is a member of the Seelie court, and she is married to Artagan.
