Viqi Shesh is a very ambitious Senator from Kuat who allied herself with the Yuuzhan Vong during their occupation of the galaxy, in order to protect her interests.

Prefect Da'Gara is the Commander of the Praetorite Vong, the first group of Yuuzhan Vong warriors sent to begin the invasion of the galaxy. Nom Anor was sent to create diversion by creating havoc and unrest in the planet near the Core in order to keep the eye of the New Republic busy somewhere else, away from the threat coming from the edge of the galaxy. Yomin Carr was assigned to infiltrate a group of scientists at ExGal-4 to await and guide the arrival of Praetorite Vong.

Gnullith is Yuuzhan Vong substitute to breather, the star-shaped creature that enables the person wearing it to breathe underwater, while ooglith cloaker protects the body from icy-cold water.
