1. What was the name of the bully who, surprisingly, joined Sci-Clops?

Answer: Andy Mitchell

Andy Mitchell has supposedly been quite a dolt and very mean. Mark was extremely surprised and angry when he discovered that Andy was joining the science club, Sci-Clops, seeing as it was composed mainly of nerds...not bullies. Mark wanted to jump up and scream when Andy was introduced to the class and couldn't close his mouth when he found out Andy actually knew what he was talking about.

2. What color is a tang?

Answer: green

Tangs are very dangerous creatures that live on Eelong. They are green, have many teeth, and smell horrible when they are hungry.

3. What was the shape of the acolyte symbol on the inside of Mark's ring that began to glow when he and Courtney were sitting in her basement together?

Answer: three wavy lines

The inside of the rings have ten symbols in them, each representing a territory of Halla. When an acolyte wants to send something, the receiver's ring will glow with the territory's symbol from which the message is coming.

4. What was different about the quigs on Eelong?

Answer: they are human

The quigs on Eelong are human, or gars. The only way Bobby realized that they were quigs was because of their yellow eyes. Quigs only live near entrances to flumes.

5. What is the name of Seegen's acolyte?

Answer: Yorn

Seegen is the traveler from Eelong and his acoloyte is Yorn. Seegen has been missing for quite some time and his daughter, Kasha, is becoming very worried. If she or Yorn does not find him, Kasha may have to take over being a traveler...a job she is not very fond of.

6. Who does Saint Dane transform into on the Council of Klee?

Answer: Timber

Saint Dane has the powerful ability to turn himself into anyone at will. He chooses to become a Klee named Timber and joins the Council of Klee. Here, he can persuade the Klees to make new rules and change life on Eelong, hopefully making the territory crumble.

7. What are the mysterious, amber cubes called?

The amber cubes are called Link. They are like radio transmitters in which the gars can communicate secretly with each other. They use this technology to make the Advent a success.

8. How many gigs were sent to destroy Black Water and all of the gars?

Answer: nine

Nine gigs were sent to drop a poison, provided by Saint Dane, over Black Water. If that mission failed, the klees were expected to fly the gigs over the remaining escaping gars and drop the poison on them, killing them all.

9. Who did Saint Dane take the form of, at Black Water?

Answer: A little gar girl

Because of Saint Dane's powers, Bobby often times is confused. When Saint Dane transformed into a little girl, he didn't realize it at first, but then noticed the eyes. They were piercing blue. It was then that Bobby knew that it was Saint Dane.

10. Who is trapped on Eelong after the flume comes to life?

Answer: Gunny and Spader

Gunny and Spader watch as Bobby and Kasha take the last trip through the flume before it crumbles to bits. They are trapped there while Bobby and Kasha flume to Zadaa.
