Though he becomes best friends with Alai, the first launchy that he makes friends with was Shen, when Ender got back at Bernard for making fun of Shen's wiggling butt.

2. What is Ender the first to do?

Answer: Open his locker

He is the last launchy in his group to get his bunk, but is the fastest of them and opens the locker first.

3. Ender sees someone in the mirror in the Giant's Drink game. Who?

Answer: Peter

He saw Peter in the mirror because that was how he saw himself; he thought that he was just like Peter.

4. What is the name of the first army that Ender was in?

Answer: Salamander

He was assigned to Salamander much earlier then any other launchy had been before him. Bonzo partially hated Ender for that reason.

Mazer had been sent out into space so that he would still be alive when Ender was ready to save the world. He trained Ender only for a short time before Ender started to actually fight the Buggers; however Ender didn't know that it was the real thing, he thought that it was still training.

He uses the name Speaker For the Dead rather then his own name to make a distinction between Ender the murderer and Ender who loved the Buggers.
