Answer: "Brianna."

His larynx was injured when he was hanged, making it a real effort for him to speak. The first time he says anything afterwards, much to everyone's surprise, was "STOKH!" ("STOP!") when his son Jemmy was about to scald himself with a hot coffee pot. Afterwards, Brianna asks him if he can say her name.

He can, though almost inaudibly, and Bree is just happy that he hasn't entirely lost his ability to speak.

2. What is contained in the package sent from London?

Answer: astrolabe

A surveying device. Since Jamie knows the outcome is in favour of the Rebels, he also knows that for a period of time he will be a traitor and his land will probably be seized. He will have a better chance of getting it back following the Rebel victory if he has documentation of exactly which land is his.

3. Who sent the package from London?

Answer: Captain William Ransome

It was sent at the behest of John Grey, but the package itself was from Jamie's son, William.

4. What type of gem is it that Jemmy accidentally swallows?

Jemmy got into Claire's surgery and destroyed the amulet given to her by Nayawenne, the Tuscaroran medicine woman with whom she was acquainted. The amulet contained a raw sapphire, that Jemmy mischanced to swallow.

The village of Kalanun'yi (Raventown) acclaimed all its problems to the white "ghost" bear, but it was really only one of three. Josiah was stealing things at night, and a group of escaped slaves were killing some of the villagers to avoid being discovered.

He wants Jamie, a master swordsman, to teach him to fight so he can help him when it comes time to kill Bonnet, and also so that he will not be useless when it comes time to rebel against the British.
