1. What season on the television show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" does this story take place in?

Answer: Season 4

There is a historian's note on the page containing the copyright that says the story takes place at the beginning of the fourth season. In between the episodes (to the best of my knowledge) "The Harsh Light of Day" and "Beer Bad". The 4 volumes can be purchased as one single volume, as the end of the first book, "Prophecies", the story continues straight into the second volume "Dark Times", and it continues right into volume three "The King of the Dead", and continues into the concluding volume "Original Sins".

2. A demon-God named Camazotz arrives in Sunnydale. What is his true purpose in arriving there?

Answer: To find his wife.

Camazotz's wife was dead, but her spirit fled to Sunnydale in the guise of "The Prophet" to steal Buffy's body to kill Camazotz. It didn't work that way.

3. What was the "brand" of Camazotz?

Answer: A bat

The vampire followers all had bat tattoos on their faces. Giles continued to use this brand on his followers even after overthrowing Camazotz.

4. Who staked Spike?

Answer: Xander

Xander staked Spike (in the future) after getting information out of him. I was sad; I love Spike. After The Prophet touches Buffy, she finds herself in her 25 year old body in a hellish future controlled by vampires.

5. Who became the "King of the Dead"?

Answer: Giles

Giles was vamped, overthrew Camazotz, and had most of California under his rule.

6. What vampire killed Faith after she awoke from her coma?

Answer: Spike

Spike killed Faith, Anya, and Joyce. Faith became one of the good guys again, and tried to defeat Giles and his lackeys.

Answer: Oz

Oz was able to control the wolf side of him. He did this without ever having to go to Tibet like he did in the show.

Willow had to master alchemy by realizing that the secret to making it work was not to use it for personal gain.

She was unable to enter her body without consent from the body. She had to appear to Willow and Oz in a spirit-like form to get help.
