Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When did Soubi first meet Nisei?

Answer: While Nisei was spying on Ritsuka

Nisei was spying on Ritsuka and his mother in book five. Soubi detected his power and went to find out what was going on. They exchanged heated words before Nisei called up Seimei on his cell phone. Soubi was dumbfounded at Seimei's voice. After being told by Seimei that he couldn't fight Soubi, Nisei left. Nisei said that he considered stalking a 'hobby'.
2. While Ritsuka and Soubi were out fighting Fearless, we saw what Nisei was up to. What was he doing?

Answer: He was talking to Ritsuka's mother

Nisei seemed to have set up the battle between Ritsuka and Fearless, since he was talking to Fearless's sacrifice right before the battle. When he went into the Aoyagi home, he claimed that he was Seimei. Misaki believed his lies easily, because she desperately wanted Seimi to be alive. Nisei tried to convince Misaki to kill Ritsuka, so Seimei could come home. Misaki refused, saying she wanted both of her sons home. Nisei got her to take her sleeping pills and left once she fell asleep.

He called her 'selfish' for wanting both boys.
3. While at Seven Voices Academy, what did Nisei say he could not feel?

Answer: Love and affection

The two Zero teams were the ones who could not feel pain. When Nisei was talking to Seimei about his intentions, he said that he didn't feel love or affection. He went on to state that he didn't want, need, or understand love at all. Seimei called him pathetic, but Nisei didn't seem to let that bother him.
4. Who did Nisei run into once he and Seimei parted ways at Seven Voices Academy?

Answer: Ai and Midori

Yayoi and Yuiko had nothing to do with Seven Voices Academy, and were at their own school at the time. Gin and Kinka vanished after fighting Soubi and Ritsuka. Yoji and Natsuo were with Nagisa-Sensei. That leaves Ai and Midori, Breathless. They had Ritsuka with them.

They were explaining the chord that connects them when Nisei showed up. An announcement came over the speaker, which told all the students to avoid the new intruder at all costs. Nisei took offense to being called an intruder. Perhaps he had more to do with Seven Voices Academy then the others knew.
5. Nisei's true name, Beloved, was written on his body. Where was it written?

Answer: On his hand

'Beloved' was written on Nisei's hand. It started from just above the first knuckle of his middle finger, and continued down to his wrist. This was discovered in book 7, while he was fighting Soubi and Ritsuka.
6. Nisei fought with Soubi and Ritsuka in the end of volume 7, and the beginning of volume 8. Did he win?

Answer: No

Soubi and Ritsuka defeated Nisei in battle in volumes 7 and 8. He taunted them with spells that, seemingly, caused Ritsuka to see a vision of Seimei calling him a nuisance and telling him to get lost. It seemed that Nisei wanted to use Ritsuka's fears and weaknesses against him. Nisei fell unconscious after his defeat.
7. How did Nisei knock out Kio?

Answer: He made the front door of a building explode

Nisei discovered Kio sitting outside of Seven Voices Academy. As an outsider, Kio was not permitted inside. He didn't want to go to the hot springs as he was told to do, so he waited outside for Soubi and Ritsuka. He and Nisei had a short discussion about how Nisei couldn't get inside. Nisei used word spell to make the front door, and the chains holding it shut, explode. Kio fell unconscious shortly after.
8. When Nisei got captured by guards, why did he struggle?

Answer: Seimei was calling to him

As stated before, after being defeated by Soubi and Ritsuka, Nisei fell unconscious. Guards came to take him away and he began struggling. The guards didn't know why, but Nisei was hearing Seimei call for him. This was the last time Nisei was seen in the printed US manga.
9. Nisei had a meeting with a man named Mimuro in volume 5. What did he call Mimuro?

Answer: Mimuro-sempai

The term 'sempai' refers to an upperclassman, which means that Mimuro was older then Nisei. Mimuro told Mei that he couldn't resist when Nisei sais, 'please, Mimuro-sempai?' It seemed like the two of them were friends, as they seemed to be speaking casually.
10. Seimei claimed that his world could only fit himself and Ritsuka. What did Nisei think of this?

Answer: He thought it made him an outsider

Nisei asked Seimei if that made him an outsider. When Seimei responded that animals like dogs and bird were okay, Nisei tried to figure out what he meant. He came to the conclusion that he was a dog, and that 'that guy' was a bird. 'That guy' most likely referred to Kio, whom he had met a short time before. Though he figured that out, Nisei was still confused about what Seimei truly meant.
